Electric Sperm Separator (ESS) is an innovative reproductive technology developed to help farmers improve the efficiency of their goat farming operations. Through the simple principle of sperm separation, ESS has the potential to support more effective and easily implemented reproductive management at the farmer level.
This technology was introduced to 30 farmers in Sambirejo Village, Bangorejo District, Banyuwangi, through outreach activities, training, and live demonstrations. The implementation of ESS received a positive response from the participants.
Evaluation results showed an increase in farmer knowledge after the training, indicating that this technology is easy to understand and has significant potential for adoption in the field. With its relatively affordable cost and simple implementation, ESS is expected to be an innovative solution for increasing livestock productivity while supporting the development of sustainable goat farming.
