FIKKIA NEWS – Students from the Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Natural Sciences (FIKKIA) at Airlangga University have once again achieved success in entrepreneurship. Seven FIKKIA student businesses won awards. Best 3 in the event Airlangga Youth Entrepreneur (AYE) 2026The awards were presented on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Majapahit Hall, ASEEC Building, UNAIR. This year, 101 student business teams from various faculties successfully qualified and participated in the 2026 AYE series.
UNAIR Director of Student Affairs Dr. Eko Supeno, Drs., M.Si., in his remarks emphasized the importance of developing the mindset of the younger generation. Students are encouraged to not only become job seekers, but also able to be entrepreneurHe believes that entrepreneurship can encourage the younger generation to create opportunities and jobs. This spirit is one of the key values fostered through AYE 2026.
Winner of 3 Best Awards
Seven FIKKIA student businesses present innovations from various fields. The products and services they develop demonstrate the use of knowledge, creativity, and the potential of the surrounding community. The teams are:
1. Catfish Cycle
Lele Cycle develops the concept of raising catfish using Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) and aquaponics systems. This business was developed by Andhika Mufid Prayogo (AKUA 23), Akbar Mauladani (AKUA 25), and Alief Fibi Yanto (AKUA 24).
2. TWISTART
TWISTART presents creative craft products made from pipe cleaner. The material is developed into a product handmade Aesthetic and innovative. This business was developed by Adellia Cahyani Putri, Septi Nabilla, and Destrywan Marito Parapat from Public Health 2024.
3. KETABREED
KETABREED presents an innovative fish feed made from ketapang leaves. This product was developed to help enhance the coloration of ornamental fish. KETABREED was developed by Muhlisa Putri Firmansyah, Liyana Mesya, and Nur Andini Kusnadi from Aquaculture 2024.
4. CONSOLUTION Agency
KONSOLUTIF Agency provides employee competency development services. This platform connects companies with practitioners and consultants. Human Resources (HR) experienced. The business was developed by Bagas Putut Pratama and M. Nabil from Public Health 2024.
5. Dragon Feed Omega-3
Dragon Feed Omega-3 presents an innovative omega-3-rich feed for laying hens based on dragon fruit peel waste. This product was developed to help address the issue of heat stress by utilizing lemuru fish meal.
This business was developed by Aisyah Shafa Rasmana and Angela Clarissa CK from Veterinary Medicine 2024.
6. DINDACELL EXPRESS CENTER PULSE
PULSA CENTER DINDACELL EXPRESS is an individual business that provides various digital services. Its services include phone credit, data packages, electricity tokens, and top up e-walletThis business was developed by Dinda Amelia from Public Health 2024.
7. HUSHCIN
HUSHCIN presents an innovative rat repellent made from cinnamon bark essential oil. This product is a practical, safe, and environmentally friendly rat control alternative. HUSHCIN was developed by Rodifah Royan and Dewi Anggraeni from PPDH 2026.
Cultivating Entrepreneurial Courage
This achievement received a positive response from students. Muhlisa Putri, a member of the KETABREED team, said she gained valuable experience from participating in AYE 2026.
"I'm really happy to have participated in the AYE competition. Besides gaining new experiences, I also got to meet so many cool people with their ideas. I hope AYE continues to be a platform for young people to develop, boldly express their ideas, and gain experience," said Muhlisa.
Supervisor, Diansanto Prayoga, S.KM., M.Kes, stated that the award was the result of the students' hard work and creativity. Team cohesion and a willingness to accept feedback were also crucial elements of the business development process.
"This award shouldn't be seen as an end in itself, but as a starting point for further development of your work in a more mature and sustainable manner. Maintain your enthusiasm for learning, courage to innovate, and teamwork," he said.
He hopes this achievement will inspire other FIKKIA students to be bold in their work and participate in various competitions. Through the innovations they develop, they are expected to bring honor to FIKKIA and UNAIR while making a real contribution to society.
